FAQ

What are your office hours?

We are open Mondays 9-7, Wednesdays 8-5, Thursdays 9-7, and Fridays 8-6. We are closed on Tuesdays.

How long will my appointment be?

New patient appointments are one hour. All other appointments are 30 minutes.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

We understand that things come up and emergencies happen. However, there may be others seeking treatment who are unable to come in when our schedule is full. Therefore, we require a 24-hour notice for cancelled appointments. Charges may be incurred if appointments are cancelled with less than a 24-hour notice.

Do you take walk-ins?

No, we currently have an appointment-only practice. However, you are welcome to call or stop by to see if there are any last minute openings. We schedule patients in back-to-back, 30-minute or 1-hour blocks. Therefore, when Dr. Burnley's schedule is full, there is usually not room to "squeeze in" patients between appointments. Dr. Burnley has chosen a way of practice that allows him to spend more time with each patient and provide personalized care. We have a family atmosphere and like to get to know our patients well!

How much will my visit cost?

We encourage you to call our office at 214-264-6072 prior to your appointment to determine what the estimated fees will be for your visit.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we accept most major insurance plans. We are In Network with BlueCross BlueShield. Others will be considered Out of Network. If you have a BlueCross BlueShield HMO plan, you will need to get a referral from your Primary Care Physician prior to your new patient visit at our clinic. We are not a participating provider with Medicare or Medicaid.

Can I bring my child(ren) or another person with me to my appointment?

Yes, absolutely! You are welcome to bring them with you to your appointment. We encourage a fun, friendly, and stress-free atmosphere. However, for their safety and out of respect for other patients being treated, young children may not be left in our waiting room without a parent or guardian present.

Do you treat children in your practice?

Yes, we welcome patients of all ages! Dr. Burnley has treated patients as young as a few minutes old.

What is appropriate attire for my appointment?

We encourage you to wear comfortable clothing that you can move around in. Ladies, please wear shorts or pants to your appointment (no skirts or dresses, please). Please refrain from wearing heavy cologne, perfume, or fragrant lotions.
